life is short.
so i've been really lazy to blog much, if at all recently...
my page needs major updating (so bored of it already)
but anyways, my time back in Singapore is about to come to an end i guess...
just over a week left before I say goodbye to, the food, family and friends again...
and head back to the united states of bad cooking
anyways, today was a rather fun and productive day..
woke up at about 11, and headed to the ritz for a buffet lunch at the coffeehouse
rather relaxing, and the food was good, though I think i still prefer the dinner buffet at the conrad...
or better yet, the japanese ala carte buffet at the pan pacific..
that aside, eating and chatting causes time to whizz by ever so quickly
and I found myself headed to the orchard area to meet sean at 3
after some aimless walking about (due in large part to the chit chatting) and an 'extended' visit to the apple store at wheelock
we sat down to have a green tea frap at the starbucks next to orange julius outside
under sean's persuation, i asked if I could use my US starbucks card...
and the cashier suprisingly knew it was from there even though the card had no indication it was from the land of the free
oh well, i tried... =P
the drink tasted pretty good, though it did dry the mouth quite a bit.
wasn't long before another 2.5 hrs passed (1hr++ was sean complaining about this Bukit Tinggi place)
met john afterwhich at the apple store,
and headed on to paragon (sean restarts the bukit tinggi omg it was so bad story, which was rather hilarious to say the least)
holes in the floor, bridge construction and grimey dora the explorer nunsense.
ate ding tai fung, which still has rather nice xiao long paos...
started the walk from there to my place where we played some pool, and chatted the night away.
its really been awhile since i've talked to either john or sean,
but meeting together just led to a confluence of conversations, much laughter and alot of fun.
i guess as my brother's violin case used to say...
life is short. play hard.
